  • *Responsibilities:**
  • Lead end-to-end UX design efforts, including research, blueprinting, and system evaluation.
  • Manage the design and implementation of multiple websites and applications concurrently.
  • Conduct comprehensive user research and analysis to inform highly usable web and application interfaces.
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to deliver innovative, intuitive design solutions.
  • Develop wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to clearly communicate design concepts.
  • Create scalable design resources to enhance project collaboration and creative services.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 10+ years of combined professional UI/UX and User-Centered Design (UCD) experience.
  • Strong online portfolio demonstrating research-driven responsive web and mobile application designs.
  • Expertise in user research methodologies, UCD principles, and UI design standards.
  • Advanced understanding of user personas, user flows, affinity mapping, and related tools.
  • Proficiency in the full website development lifecycle (discovery through evaluation).
  • Experience evaluating existing systems, identifying UX issues, and developing recommendations.
  • Proven ability to design 508 and US Web Design System (USWDS) compliant web and mobile applications.
  • Skilled in prioritizing features based on user goals and business requirements.
  • Track record of carrying designs from wireframes to high-fidelity UI mockups.
  • Experience establishing rapid customer feedback loops.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience mentoring and leading junior designers.
  • Advanced coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe XD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-focused communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience creating and modifying data visualizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
