Summary
Seeking a GS-15 expert in advanced operations research, joint warfighting, and protection portfolio strategy for complex missions.
We are seeking a highly experienced professional for a GS-15 position, responsible for leading advanced operations research and strategic planning within joint warfighting.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide expert analysis, strategic planning, and recommendations for complex joint missions, utilizing advanced operations research and operational war planning methodologies.
- Serve as a recognized authority in strategy, J8 technical direction, and requirements management for the Protection portfolio.
- Integrate asset and personnel protection into current and emerging strategies, concepts, doctrine, and force capabilities.
- Lead the planning, execution, coordination, evaluation, and refinement of critical planning products (e.g., Concept of Operations, Capability Documents, Analysis of Alternatives).
- *Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, directly applying the principles outlined above.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced operations research, operational war planning, and joint warfighting environments.
- Experience in asset and personnel protection strategies and complex planning product development.
- Volunteer experience is recognized as qualifying experience.
- Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience at this grade level.
