Senior Front End Engineer for Capital One's digital wallet web features; requires React/Angular, cloud experience, and Agile skills.
Join Capital One's Emerging Payments team as a Senior Front End Software Engineer, focusing on web features for Digital Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Samsung Pay, Paze). You'll work in a fast-paced, cross-functional Agile environment, developing robust, cloud-based solutions to enhance customer financial experiences.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, test, and implement web features for digital payment solutions.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and product managers to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions.
- Utilize technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, Java, HTML/CSS, SQL, Python, and Go.
- Engage with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and open-source frameworks.
- Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new tools, and mentor peers within the engineering community.
- *Qualifications:**
- *Basic:**
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- *Preferred:**
- 5+ years experience in JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
- 1+ year experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another major cloud platform.
- 3+ years experience with open-source frameworks.
- 2+ years experience working in Agile methodologies.
