Summary
Senior Software Engineer for Capital One's Digital Wallets team, developing cloud-based, full-stack payment solutions in an Agile environment.
Join Capital One as a Senior Software Engineer on the Emerging Payments External Integration team, building innovative web features for Digital Wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. This is a full-stack role in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- *What You'll Do:**
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, cloud-based full-stack solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and product managers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and mentor peers.
- Utilize technologies including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- *What You'll Bring:**
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Preferably 5+ years with JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and open-source frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- *Salary:** $158,600 - $181,000 annually (McLean, VA). Compensation may include performance-based incentives.
