Senior Software Engineer, Front End

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and development of robust, cross-functional, multi-platform front-end application systems.
• Develop solutions leveraging a test-driven development (TDD) pattern.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions.
• Work with distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor peers.
• Utilize JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Java, open-source frameworks, and RESTful web services for cross-browser/device development.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience not applicable)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.
• 3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.

* McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000 * Richmond, VA: $144,200 - $164,600

• This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
