Summary
Provide advanced clinical social work services, specialized interventions, and consultation as a Senior Social Worker.
Join our team as a Senior Social Worker (GS-12) to provide advanced clinical social work services within a specialized area of practice. This role demands expertise in complex interventions, program development, and clinical supervision.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide a range of specialized interventions and treatment modalities, including individual, group, and/or family counseling or psychotherapy, and advanced psychosocial/case management.
- Conduct differential diagnosis and treatment, incorporating complex causation within approved clinical privileges.
- Develop and implement methods for measuring the effectiveness of social work practice and services, utilizing outcome evaluations to improve treatment.
- Offer specialized consultation to colleagues and students on psychosocial treatment, modeling effective social work practice skills.
- Contribute to expanding clinical knowledge in the social work profession, including writing policies, procedures, and practice guidelines.
- *Basic Requirements:**
- United States Citizenship.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school (a doctoral degree cannot substitute).
- *Experience & Licensure (GS-12 Specific):**
- **Experience:** A minimum of two years post-advanced practice clinical licensure, with at least one year equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. Experience must demonstrate advanced practice skills, judgment, and expertise in a specialized social work area.
- **Licensure:** Must hold a state license or certification at the advanced practice level (requiring an advanced generalist or clinical examination, or grandfathered status). Ability to provide supervision for licensure is required.
