Senior Social Worker

Join our team as a Senior Social Worker, providing advanced clinical interventions and consultation in a specialized practice area.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Deliver specialized interventions and treatment modalities, including individual, group, and family counseling or psychotherapy.
• Provide advanced-level psychosocial assessment and case management.
• Conduct differential diagnosis and treatment, incorporating complex multiple causation within clinical privileges.
• Develop and implement methods to measure the effectiveness of social work practice and services, utilizing outcome evaluations to improve treatment.
• Design system changes based on evaluation results.
• Offer specialized consultation to colleagues and students, serving as a role model for effective social work practice.
• Expand clinical knowledge within the social work profession and contribute to policy, procedure, or practice guideline development.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship.
• **Language:** Proficiency in basic written and spoken English.
• **Education:** Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited school.
• **Licensure:**

* Current state licensure or certification to independently practice social work at the master's degree level. * Advanced practice state licensure/certification (which includes an advanced generalist or clinical examination, unless grandfathered). * Ability to provide supervision for licensure.

• **Experience (GS-12):**

* Minimum of two (2) years of post-advanced practice clinical licensure experience in a specialized area of social work practice. * At least one (1) year of this experience must be equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. * Demonstrated advanced practice skills, judgment, and expertise in a specialized area.

• **Advanced Skills (KSAs):**

* Skill in specialized interventions and treatment modalities (individual, group, family counseling/psychotherapy, advanced psychosocial/case management). * Ability to incorporate complex multiple causation in differential diagnosis and treatment. * Knowledge of methods for measuring practice effectiveness and using outcome evaluations for service improvement and system changes. * Ability to provide specialized consultation and role model effective social work practice. * Ability to expand clinical knowledge and write policies, procedures, or practice guidelines.
