## Senior Social Worker
Join our team as a Senior Social Worker, responsible for delivering advanced clinical social work services within a multi-disciplinary environment. This role requires expertise in specialized interventions, clinical consultation, and contributing to program improvement. This position is typically filled at the GS-11/12 grade level.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced-level psychosocial assessments and case management.
- Implement a range of specialized interventions and treatment modalities, including individual, group, and/or family counseling or psychotherapy.
- Conduct differential diagnosis and treatment, incorporating complex causation within approved clinical privileges.
- Develop and implement methods for measuring social work practice effectiveness, utilizing outcome evaluations to improve services and design systemic changes.
- Offer specialized consultation to colleagues and students on psychosocial treatment, serving as a role model for effective social work practice.
- Contribute to the expansion of clinical knowledge within the social work profession, including writing policies, procedures, or practice guidelines.
- **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- **Language:** Proficient in spoken and written English.
- **Education:** A Master's Degree in Social Work from a school fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- **Licensure:** Current state licensure or certification to independently practice social work at the master's degree level.
- **Experience:** At least two (2) years of experience post-advanced practice clinical licensure, with one (1) year equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. This experience should demonstrate advanced practice skills and judgment in a specialized area of social work.
- **Advanced Licensure:** Must be licensed or certified by a state at the advanced practice level (e.g., requiring an advanced generalist or clinical examination) and be able to provide supervision for licensure.
- Skill in a range of specialized interventions and treatment modalities for diverse patient populations.
- Ability to incorporate complex multiple causation in differential diagnosis and treatment.
- Expertise in developing and implementing methods for measuring practice effectiveness and utilizing outcome evaluations.
- Ability to provide specialized consultation and role modeling for social work practice skills.
- Capacity to expand clinical knowledge and contribute to policy/procedure development.
