Summary

Seeking a Senior Social Worker (GS-12) with advanced clinical licensure and specialized experience to provide expert patient care.

Join our team as a Senior Social Worker (GS-12), applying advanced clinical expertise to provide comprehensive care within a specialized practice area. This role demands high-level independent judgment, advanced practice skills, and the ability to contribute to improved patient outcomes.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Deliver specialized interventions and treatment, including individual, group, and/or family counseling or psychotherapy.
  • Conduct advanced psychosocial assessments and case management for specific patient populations.
  • Apply complex diagnostic reasoning for differential diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement methods to measure the effectiveness of social work practices and services, using outcome data to enhance care.
  • Provide specialized consultation and mentorship to colleagues and students.
  • Contribute to the expansion of clinical knowledge and develop relevant policies or practice guidelines.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • **Language:** Proficient in basic written and spoken English.
  • **Education:** Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
  • **Licensure:**
* Current state licensure or certification to independently practice social work at the master's degree level. * Current state advanced practice licensure (e.g., LCSW), including successful completion of an advanced generalist or clinical examination, or state-specific grandfathered status. * Ability to provide supervision for licensure.
  • **Experience:**
* Minimum of two (2) years of post-advanced practice clinical licensure experience in a specialized social work area. * At least one (1) year of this experience must be equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. * Demonstrated advanced practice skills, expert judgment, and specialized knowledge.
  • **Skills:**
* Expertise in specialized interventions and treatment modalities. * Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities for complex patient needs. * Capability to assess program effectiveness and drive service improvements. * Excellent consultation, mentorship, and professional development skills.
