Summary
Lead Hilton's global digital marketing strategy, driving digital revenue, loyalty, and brand presence across all digital channels.
Hilton is seeking a Senior Director, Digital Marketing based at our corporate office in McLean, VA. This pivotal role within the Global Marketing team focuses on maximizing marketing's contribution to enterprise performance by driving the strategy and activation across Hilton's digital channels.
Reporting to the Vice President of Content Planning and Channel Strategy, you will lead Hilton's digital marketing vision, ensuring measurable business outcomes through expert activation and deep cross-functional partnerships.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategy & Performance Ownership:** Own Hilton's annual and long-term digital marketing strategy, with direct accountability for digital revenue, loyalty enrollment/engagement, and co-brand card acquisition.
- **Digital Revenue Growth:** Drive traffic acquisition, channel conversion, and retailing optimization for Hilton.com and the Hilton Honors app to maximize direct revenue.
- **Loyalty & Engagement:** Partner with Loyalty and CRM teams to accelerate Hilton Honors enrollment and deepen member engagement through seamless digital pathways.
- **Co-Brand Card Acquisition:** Lead digital strategy for co-brand card marketing within Hilton's owned channels, optimizing placement, targeting, and creative.
- **Content & Conversion Optimization:** Orchestrate, target, and optimize digital content, leveraging personalization, testing, and analytics to continuously improve conversion rates.
- **Discoverability & Demand Capture:** Expand Hilton's visibility in organic search and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms.
- **Digital Experience Excellence:** Champion intuitive, conversion-focused, and loyalty-centered digital experiences across web and app, advocating for design excellence and customer-first principles.
- **Innovation & Efficiency:** Advance Hilton's digital platforms, tools, and processes, leveraging AI and MarTech to unlock new performance opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- **Team Leadership:** Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of digital strategists, analysts, content experts, and designers, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner across Marketing, Loyalty, Commercial, Technology, and Analytics to align digital roadmaps with business outcomes and guest needs.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing.
- 7+ years of experience in cross-channel marketing, content marketing, digital experience, or similar digital roles.
- 5+ years of experience managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of customer-centric, modern marketing (multichannel media, content, social, CRM).
- Strategic and innovative thinker who translates vision into execution.
- Deep focus on the digital guest journey.
- Proven ability to inspire, develop, and retain top digital talent.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to align cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in hospitality, travel, restaurants, consumer services, or relevant credit cards, particularly within large, global consumer brand companies leading website and mobile app.
- Experience working with franchisees, digital D2C businesses, or related models.
