Senior Associate, User Experience Research Operations (McLean, VA)

Join our XD Research Operations team to build and mature systems enabling high-quality, accessible design and research insights at scale. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, empowering researchers and designers. We seek a self-starter adept at integrated problem-solving, balancing daily operations with strategic initiatives to boost efficiency through standardized workflows and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• **Process Optimization:** Manage research project logistics and implement improvements to enhance team efficiency.
• **Research Governance:** Ensure compliance with ethics, privacy, and data protection standards for all projects.
• **Knowledge Management:** Develop and maintain a library of research practices, resources, and templates.
• **Research Advocacy:** Champion and evangelize research methodologies across the organization.
• **Project Management:** Partner with Research and Design teams to manage project systems and logistics.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years in UX/Research Operations, project management, or process improvement.
• 1+ year working directly with Research or Design teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Systems thinking to establish scalable Design and Research practices.
• Strategic acumen for anticipating and resolving complex cross-functional problems.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with research tools, vendors, and panel management.
• 2+ years managing risk in regulated research environments.
• 2+ years experience with Jira and Confluence.

Salary Range (McLean, VA): $109,000 - $124,400 annually.
