Summary
Senior Research Operations Associate to optimize UX research processes, ensure compliance, manage projects, and scale insights.
The Experience Design (XD) Research Operations team is seeking a driven Senior Research Operations Associate to enhance and mature our capabilities. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, empowering researchers and designers by building systems and practices for high-quality, accessible design and research insights at scale.
As a self-starter with a talent for integrated problem-solving, you will balance daily operational needs with strategic initiatives. You will be instrumental in boosting efficiency and impact through standardized workflows, documentation, and management.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Process Optimization & Enablement:** Manage systems and logistics for multiple research projects; create process improvements to increase team efficiency.
- **Research Governance & Compliance:** Ensure compliance across Research and Design projects, upholding high standards in ethics, privacy, and data protection.
- **Knowledge Management:** Develop a library of research practices, resources, and templates to promote consistency.
- **Research Advocacy:** Introduce new methods to evangelize research across the organization.
- **Project Management:** Collaborate with Research and Design teams to understand needs and manage project systems and logistics.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- 2+ years of experience in UX or Research Operations, project management, or process improvement.
- 1+ year of experience working directly with Research or Design teams.
- *Preferred Skills & Experience:**
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Systems thinking with a track record for establishing high-quality practices for scaling Design and Research teams.
- Strategic acumen to anticipate and solve complex cross-functional problems.
- Strong project management experience with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with research tools and vendors.
- Familiarity with panel management strategies and technology.
- 2+ years experience managing risk in highly regulated research environments.
- 2+ years experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and data visualization tools (e.g., Confluence).

- *Salary Range (Annual Full-time):**
- McLean, VA: $109,000 - $124,400
- New York, NY: $118,900 - $135,700
- Richmond, VA: $99,100 - $113,100
