Senior Associate, Affiliate Marketing

Join Capital One as a Senior Associate on the US Card Affiliate Operations Team, managing 5-6 key affiliate partners. This role is crucial for optimizing our digital acquisition strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving new customer growth through the affiliate marketing channel.

• *Responsibilities:**
• **Affiliate Relationship Management:** Serve as the primary contact for assigned affiliate partners, facilitating regular meetings, resolving issues, and acting as a liaison with internal teams. Manage contract updates and provide performance feedback.
• **Marketing Oversight:** Act as a creative consultant, guiding partners on advertising design and ensuring all new marketing experiences undergo legal review and documentation.
• **Compliance & Risk:** Work with a third-party supplier to monitor and report on affiliate compliance. Assess violations, manage remediation processes, and coordinate with risk partners for anomalies.
• **Performance Optimization:** Analyze partner performance to identify optimization opportunities, scope future tests (payouts, products, creatives), and contribute to monthly business reviews.
• **Process Improvement:** Continuously seek ways to improve processes, reduce manual work, and document all workflows, reviews, and approvals.
• **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Collaborate with internal teams (Risk, Legal, Tech) and external partners (affiliates, suppliers) to execute marketing strategies.
• *Qualifications:**
• *Basic:**
• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 2+ years of project, process, or risk management experience.
• 1+ year of digital acquisition marketing experience.
• 1+ year of vendor or relationship management experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
• *Preferred:**
• 2+ years experience with affiliate marketing (agency, brand, or affiliate).
• Process (LEAN, Six Sigma) or project management (CAPM, PMP) certifications.
• 3+ years of project, process, or risk management experience.
• 2+ years of vendor or relationship management experience.
• 2+ years of risk management or compliance experience.
• 2+ years of Google Suite experience.
