Job Description

Summary

Lead maritime security initiatives, assessing practices, representing at briefings, and coordinating security exercises.

To qualify for this position, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 federal service grade level.

  • *Required Specialized Experience includes:**
  • Measuring the effectiveness of existing security practices related to maritime security.
  • Serving as a spokesperson at public meetings, hearings, and briefings on maritime and port security.
  • Assisting in the establishment of maritime security measures.
  • Coordinating, planning, and developing assessments of maritime security exercises.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid work, including volunteer experience through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations. All qualifying experience will be credited.
