Security Specialist Personnel Information Physical

Join our team to safeguard national security information and systems. You will investigate, analyze, and resolve complex security issues, serving as a technical authority and subject matter expert.

• *Responsibilities:**
• Investigate and analyze diverse security problems (Personnel, Information, Physical, Specialized Security, SCI, SAP, Insider Threat, OPSEC, COMSEC, Foreign Disclosure, visit verifications).
• Apply National Security principles, legislation, and policies as an SME.
• Develop and implement security policy, providing technical leadership on new developments.
• Conduct comprehensive security incident investigations, including analysis, risk assessment, resolution, and reporting.
• *Qualifications:**
• **For GS-13:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, actively applying the listed responsibilities.
• **For GS-12:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating the ability to learn and apply the listed responsibilities.
