Job Description
Summary
Manage classified security programs, interpret policy, and oversee sensitive information facilities for a federal agency.
We are seeking a highly qualified security professional to manage and interpret classified information programs. This role involves significant responsibility in protecting sensitive data and advising personnel on security policies.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct and identify materials, processes, and information requiring protection, recommending security policy interpretations.
- Provide expert security policy interpretation and advice to personnel.
- Maintain Original Classified Authority (OCA) designees.
- Administer classified collateral Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) programs and associated Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) activities.
- *Minimum Qualifications (GS-14 Level):**
- One year of specialized experience at a level comparable to the GS-13 grade in federal service or equivalent in the private sector. This experience must encompass the key responsibilities listed above.
- Applicants must meet federal time-in-grade requirements, possessing one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13).
- All qualifications, including volunteer experience, must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
