## Registered Nurse (Various Levels)

### Qualifications
  • **Education:**
* Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE. * Minimum: Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), or Doctoral degree in Nursing preferred for higher levels. * A Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field with a BSN may also be considered for advanced positions. * Foreign nursing graduates must possess current, full, active, and unrestricted registration and formal degree equivalency validation.
  • **Licensure:**
* Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth (e.g., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia.
  • **Experience:**
* Experience requirements vary significantly based on grade level (Nurse I, II, or III), ranging from entry-level for ADN/Diploma graduates to extensive specialized experience (typically 2+ years for BSN/MSN/Doctorate holders) for higher-grade positions. Higher levels require demonstrated leadership and complex patient care management.
  • **Language:**
* Proficiency in basic written and spoken English is required for all direct patient care positions.

### Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN with 3 years of acute/critical care experience.
  • Prior Same Day Procedure Unit experience.
### Physical Requirements This position demands visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity. It may involve prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pulling, and pushing. The ability to transfer patients and objects is required, with mechanical lifts provided. Incumbents may be exposed to infected patients and contaminated materials, necessitating the use of protective clothing in isolation, operative, or home settings. Occasional exposure to combative patients may occur. Annual Employee Health requirements must be met. For home or off-site care, driving and/or riding in GSA-vehicles may be required.
