  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Deliver patient-centered nursing care, adapting to diverse patient needs and conditions.
  • Develop and apply technical competencies in nursing practice.
  • Manage complex patient situations through deliberate planning and self-direction.
  • Demonstrate leadership in improving holistic care through collaborative strategies.
  • Contribute to evidence-based practice and professional development.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • **Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia. (Candidates actively pursuing licensure may be considered for a temporary Graduate Nurse Technician appointment).
  • **Education & Experience (Varies by Nurse Level):**
* **Nurse I, Level I:** Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing. * **Nurse I, Level II:** ADN/Diploma + 1 year experience, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). * **Nurse I, Level III:** ADN/Diploma + 2 years professional nursing experience (1 year at Level II equivalent), OR BSN + 1 year professional nursing experience (Level II equivalent), or Master's degree (MSN/related field with BSN). * **Nurse II:** BSN + 2 years professional nursing experience (Level III equivalent), OR MSN + 1 year specialized nursing experience (Level III equivalent), or Doctoral degree (DNP/related field with BSN). * **Nurse III:** MSN + 2 years specialized nursing experience (1 year at Nurse II equivalent), or Doctoral degree (DNP/related field with BSN) + 1 year specialized nursing experience (Nurse II equivalent).
  • **Language:** Proficient in basic written and spoken English.
  • *Physical Demands:**
  • Visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, pull, and push for extended periods.
  • Capable of transferring patients and objects (mechanical lifts provided).
  • Comfortable with potential exposure to infected patients/materials and occasional combative patients.
  • Must meet annual Employee Health requirements.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Five (5) years of inpatient acute/critical care experience.
  • Prior Case Management, Managed Care, or Health Plan experience.
  • Inpatient case management experience.
