Seeking licensed Nurses for patient care, requiring accredited nursing education and relevant professional experience.
This Nurse position focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care. We are seeking qualified professionals committed to high standards of practice. **Essential Qualifications:** * **English Language Proficiency:** Required for all direct patient care roles. * **Education:** * Graduation from a professional nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE. * **OR** Completion of coursework equivalent to a Bachelor's in Nursing within a Master's level bridge program (temporary appointment possible until full licensure/graduation). * **OR** For foreign nursing school graduates, possession of a current, full, active, and unrestricted U.S. RN license. Formal degree equivalency validation from a recognized evaluator (e.g., ICD) is required for degrees higher than associate/entry level. * **Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth (e.g., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia. * **Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) Exception:** Candidates meeting education but lacking licensure may be appointed on a temporary basis (up to 120 days, extendable to 2 years) while actively pursuing licensure. **Grade Determinations (Nurse I, II, III):** * Grade and level assignments are based on Scope, Education, and Dimension criteria (Practice, Veteran/Patient Driven Care, Leadership, Professional Development, Evidence-Based Practice/Research). * Detailed requirements for each level are available through the provided online assessment link. **Preferred Experience:** * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with three years of Operating Room experience as a Scrub and Circulating Nurse. **Physical Requirements:** * Visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity. * Ability to perform potentially long periods of walking, standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pulling, and pushing. * May require transferring patients and objects (mechanical lifts provided). * Potential exposure to infected patients and contaminated materials; ability to don protective clothing in isolation, operative/invasive procedures, or home settings. * Occasional exposure to combative patients. * Completion of annual Employee Health requirements. * May require driving/riding in GSA-vehicles for care in home or off-site settings.
