Summary
Seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive patient care, requiring accredited nursing education and state licensure.

- *Core Requirements:**
- **English Language Proficiency:** Proficient in basic written and spoken English.
- **Education:** Graduate of a professional nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE. Graduates of foreign schools must possess current, full, active, and unrestricted registration, with formal degree equivalency validation required for degrees higher than associate level.
- **Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth (e.g., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia.
- *Experience & Education Levels:**
- **Nurse I, Level I:** Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing; delivers fundamental, knowledge-based care.
- **Nurse I, Level II:** ADN/Diploma + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level I) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); provides care for basic or complex clients.
- **Nurse I, Level III:** ADN/Diploma + 2 years professional nursing experience (one year equivalent to Nurse I, Level II) OR BSN + 1 year professional nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level II) or a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field with a BSN; demonstrates proficiency and manages complex client situations.
- **Nurse II:** BSN + 2 years professional nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III) OR MSN + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III) or Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field with a BSN; demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care.
- **Nurse III:** MSN + 2 years specialized nursing experience (one year equivalent to Nurse II) or Doctoral degree in Nursing + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse II); executes leadership and creative approaches to complex client care beyond the immediate practice setting.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Minimum two years of Operating Room experience (circulating and scrub nurse experience a plus).
- Prior critical care experience.
- *Physical Requirements:**
- Visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, sit, bend, pull, and push for potentially long periods.
- Requires transferring patients and objects (mechanical lifts provided).
- Exposure to infected patients and contaminated materials; may require donning protective clothing.
- Occasional exposure to combative patients.
- Must complete annual Employee Health requirements.
- May require driving/riding in GSA vehicles for off-site patient care.
