As a Registered Nurse, you will integrate biopsychosocial concepts, apply technical skills, and collaborate to enhance holistic patient outcomes. - *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care, from fundamental to highly complex situations.
- Utilize critical thinking and technical competencies in practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans.
- Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Exhibit leadership in managing challenging patient care scenarios (for higher grades).
- *Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Active RN License:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **English Language Proficiency:** Demonstrated proficiency in written and spoken English.
- **Education:** Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- **Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) Exception:** Applicants meeting education requirements but lacking licensure may be hired temporarily while actively pursuing licensure.
- *Education & Experience Requirements (Grade Dependent):**
- **Nurse I, Level I:** Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing; no additional professional nursing experience.
- **Nurse I, Level II:** ADN/Diploma + 1 year specialized nursing experience or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- **Nurse I, Level III:** ADN/Diploma + 2 years professional nursing experience (including 1 year at L2 equivalent) OR BSN + 1 year professional nursing experience (L2 equivalent) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field (with BSN).
- **Nurse II:** BSN + 2 years professional nursing experience (L3 equivalent) OR MSN + 1 year specialized nursing experience (L3 equivalent) or Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field (with BSN).
- **Nurse III:** MSN + 2 years specialized nursing experience (including 1 year at Nurse II equivalent) or Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field (with BSN) + 1 year specialized nursing experience (Nurse II equivalent).
- *Preferred Skills & Experience:**
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- 3+ years of Critical Care experience.
- 3+ years of RN experience with advanced IV therapy/Vascular Access skills (e.g., PICC lines, midlines, peripheral lines).
- *Physical Demands:**
- Requires visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing.
- Capable of patient and object transfers (mechanical lifts are provided).
- Comfortable with exposure to infected patients and potentially combative individuals; may require protective clothing.
- Annual Employee Health requirements must be met.
- May involve driving for off-site patient care.
