### Overview Join our team as a Registered Nurse, where you will provide comprehensive, holistic patient care. This role involves applying clinical knowledge, technical skills, and, for higher levels, leadership in patient care strategies. Your level will be determined by your education and professional experience.
### Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fundamental to complex patient care based on knowledge and technical competency.
- Apply biopsychosocial concepts in providing care.
- Collaborate with others to improve and deliver holistic care (for higher levels).
- Demonstrate leadership in managing complex client situations (for higher levels).
- Utilize evidence-based practice and engage in professional development.
- **Education:**
- **Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Language:** Proficient in basic written and spoken English.
- **Nurse I, Level I (Entry):** ADN or Diploma; no additional professional nursing experience required.
- **Nurse I, Level II:** ADN or Diploma + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to L1) OR BSN.
- **Nurse I, Level III:** ADN or Diploma + 2 years professional nursing experience (1 year equivalent to L2) OR BSN + 1 year professional nursing experience (equivalent to L2) or Master's degree (MSN or related field with BSN).
- **Nurse II (Leadership):** BSN + 2 years professional nursing experience (equivalent to L3) OR MSN + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to L3) or Doctoral degree (Nursing or related field with BSN).
- **Nurse III (Advanced Leadership):** MSN + 2 years specialized nursing experience (1 year equivalent to Nurse II) or Doctoral degree (Nursing or related field with BSN) + 1 year specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse II).
- **Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) Exception:** Candidates meeting education requirements but without licensure may be appointed temporarily (up to 120 days, extendable to 2 years) while actively pursuing licensure.
- BSN with 3 years of acute care experience.
- Requires visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform potentially long periods of walking, standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pulling, and pushing.
- May involve patient and object transfers (mechanical lifts provided).
- Potential exposure to infected patients, contaminated materials, and combative patients, requiring protective clothing.
- May require driving/riding in GSA vehicles for off-site care.
- Completion of annual Employee Health requirements is mandatory.
