Seeking licensed Registered Nurses with diverse experience levels to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and leadership.

Join our healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where you will provide patient-centered care and contribute to improving health outcomes. We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate nurses at various experience levels.

  • *Basic Requirements:**
  • **English Language Proficiency:** Demonstrated proficiency in basic written and spoken English is required for direct patient care roles.
  • **Education:** Graduate of a professional nursing school approved by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
* **Alternative Paths:** Individuals in a master's-level bridge program may be eligible for temporary appointments upon state licensure, converting to permanent upon program completion. Graduates of foreign nursing schools must possess a current, full, active, and unrestricted U.S. state/territory/commonwealth/DC RN registration. Formal degree equivalency validation (e.g., International Consultants of Delaware - ICD) is required for foreign education higher than an associate's degree/entry-level.
  • **Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • *Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) Exception:**
  • Candidates meeting education requirements but lacking licensure may be appointed temporarily (120 days, extendable up to two years) as a GNT while actively pursuing licensure.
  • *Grade & Level Requirements (Education & Experience):**
Specific education and experience determine your nurse grade and level. In addition to the below, specific dimension requirements (Practice, Veteran/Patient Driven Care, Leadership, Professional Development, Evidence-Based Practice/Research) must be met and are detailed in the online assessment.

  • **Nurse I, Level I:** Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, no additional professional nursing experience. Delivers fundamental, knowledge-based care.
  • **Nurse I, Level II:** ADN or Diploma in Nursing and 1 year of specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level I); or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Integrates biopsychosocial concepts in providing care to clients with basic or complex needs.
  • **Nurse I, Level III:** ADN or Diploma in Nursing and 2 years of professional nursing experience (one year equivalent to Nurse I, Level II); or a BSN and 1 year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level II); or a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN); or a Master's degree in a related field with a BSN. Demonstrates proficiency and self-direction in managing complex client situations.
  • **Nurse II:** BSN with 2 years of professional nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III); or an MSN with 1 year of specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III); or a Master's degree in a related field with a BSN and 1 year of specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse I, Level III); or a Doctoral degree in Nursing; or a Doctoral degree in a related field with a BSN. Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies.
  • **Nurse III:** MSN with 2 years of specialized nursing experience (one year equivalent to Nurse II); or a Master's degree in a related field with a BSN and 2 years of specialized nursing experience (one year equivalent to Nurse II); or a Doctoral degree in Nursing with 1 year of specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse II); or a Doctoral degree in a related field with a BSN and 1 year of specialized nursing experience (equivalent to Nurse II). Executes leadership and creative approaches to complex client care beyond the immediate practice setting.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • BSN with 3 years of outpatient mental health experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven work experience in Case Management (preferably Level III), including Mental Health Care Manager.
  • *Physical Requirements:**
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity.
  • Capable of long periods of walking, standing, stooping, sitting, bending, pulling, and pushing. Transferring patients and objects may be required (mechanical lifts provided).
  • Potential exposure to infected patients, contaminated materials, and combative patients; may require donning protective clothing in isolation situations or operative/invasive procedures.
  • Must complete annual Employee Health requirements.
  • May be required to drive and/or ride in GSA-vehicles for off-site care.
