Summary

Join our team as a Registered Nurse, delivering virtual patient care; progression based on accredited education and experience.

This Registered Nurse position focuses on delivering patient care in a virtual office setting. Progression and grade level are determined by education and professional experience.

  • *Core Requirements:**
  • **English Language Proficiency:** Must be proficient in basic written and spoken English.
  • **Education:** Graduate of a professional nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
* **Foreign Graduates:** Must possess a current, full, active, and unrestricted US nursing registration. Formal degree equivalency validation (e.g., ICD) required for higher than associate degree/entry level. * **Master's Bridge Programs:** May be appointed temporarily upon state licensure, converting to permanent upon program completion.
  • **Licensure:** Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth (e.g., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia.
  • **Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) Exception:** Candidates meeting education requirements but lacking licensure may be appointed temporarily for up to 120 days (extendable up to two years) while actively pursuing licensure.
  • *Grade & Level Advancement:**
Your specific Nurse level (I, II, or III) is determined by your nursing education and professional experience. Higher levels typically require a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Nursing, combined with specific years of experience.
  • **Nurse I, Level I:** Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing.
  • **Nurse I, Level II:** ADN/Diploma + 1 year specialized experience or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • **Nurse I, Level III:** ADN/Diploma + 2 years professional experience (1 yr equiv to Level 2) OR BSN + 1 year professional experience (equiv to Level 2) or Master's (MSN) or Master's in related field with BSN.
  • **Nurse II:** BSN + 2 years professional experience (equiv to Level 3) OR MSN + 1 year specialized experience (equiv to Level 3) or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
  • **Nurse III:** MSN + 2 years specialized experience (1 yr equiv to Nurse II) or Doctoral degree in Nursing + 1 year specialized experience (equiv to Nurse II).

  • *Preferred Experience:**
  • Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree desirable.
  • Triage experience.
  • More than five years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Emergency Room and/or Critical Care experience.
  • Telephone Triage, Contact Center, or Clinical Call Center experience.
  • Virtual care experience.
  • *Physical Requirements:**
  • Work in a virtual office setting, using various communication modalities (email, Teams, video, online meetings).
  • Requires visual acuity, adequate auditory perception, clear distinctive speech, and manual dexterity.
  • Potential for extended periods of computer use, sitting, and/or standing.
