Job Description
Summary
Seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to provide expert oversight, guidance, and policy implementation for fuel quality assurance programs.
To qualify as a Quality Assurance Specialist (Chemicals) at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, demonstrating:
- Expert knowledge of military, federal, and commercial fuel specifications and test methods.
- Ability to advise, negotiate, and justify requirements to internal and external business units.
- Experience providing staff guidance and technical direction to Region Commanders and/or Region Quality Managers.
- Proficiency in implementing policy development, training development, and automation systems for energy fuel products.
- Strategic understanding and technical oversight of quality assurance programs.
