Public Notice For IT Specialist (Direct Hire)

We are seeking IT Specialists/Advisors to contribute to critical technology initiatives, focusing on cloud solutions, policy alignment, and project management.

• *Core Responsibilities:**
• Provide expert advice and guidance on IT challenges and strategic solutions.
• Ensure IT solutions align with established policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Conduct analyses to identify root causes and recommend effective resolutions for technical and operational issues.
• Define and lead requirements development for applications, optimizing hardware/software configurations.
• Provide technical guidance for design, testing, and implementation phases.
• Manage end-to-end cloud-based solutions projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Apply Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks and project management methodologies.

• *Specialized Experience (Select one level):**
• *For SV-I Pay Band (GS-13 equivalent):**
• One year of specialized IT experience providing advice and guidance on IT challenges, ensuring policy alignment, defining application requirements, optimizing configurations, and supporting cloud solution implementations using ITIL and project management.
• *For SV-J Pay Band (GS-14 equivalent):**
• One year of specialized IT experience at a higher level, advising on strategic IT challenges, leading requirements development, guiding design/implementation, and managing complex cloud projects with advanced ITIL and project management expertise.
• *General Requirements:**
• Demonstrated IT-related experience across all four core competencies.
• Relevant specialized experience; private sector equivalent accepted.
• Volunteer experience in IT is recognized and counts towards qualification.
