Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Core IT Competencies (Required for All Candidates):

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough work.
• Customer Service: Assess needs, provide support, and resolve issues for clients.
• Oral Communication: Effectively convey information, present clearly, and listen actively.
• Problem Solving: Identify issues, analyze information, and make sound recommendations.

Specialized Experience (Required for Specific Levels):

SV-I Pay Band (GS-13 Equivalent):

• Minimum one year of specialized experience (e.g., SV-H/GS-12 equivalent).
• Apply agile methodologies for solution design, testing, and implementation.
• Develop software using modern tools: git, CI/CD, TDD, DevSecOps platforms (e.g., GitLab, GitHub).
• Deliver frequent software releases that add business value, reduce maintenance, and solve security vulnerabilities.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness, protect critical systems, and ensure FISMA compliance by integrating cyber requirements into projects.

SV-J Pay Band (GS-14 Equivalent):

• Minimum one year of specialized experience (e.g., SV-I/GS-13 equivalent).
• Apply agile methodologies for solution design, testing, and implementation.
• Train teams on modern software development tools: git, CI/CD, TDD, and DevSecOps platforms.
• Lead teams of software developers to deliver frequent, high-value, secure software releases.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness, protect critical systems, and ensure FISMA compliance.

General Requirements:

• IT-related experience demonstrating all core competencies.
• Qualifying experience includes paid and volunteer work.
