Summary
Seeking an experienced Public Affairs professional adept at strategic communication, program leadership, and complex problem-solving.
This position requires an experienced Public Affairs professional capable of strategic planning, program leadership, and complex problem resolution.
- *Key Qualifications (GS-14 Level):**
To qualify, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level (federal or private sector) demonstrating your ability in:
- **Public Affairs Expertise:** Deep knowledge of Public Affairs program concepts, principles, policies, and practices.
- **Strategic Communication:** Applying written, oral, and visual communication principles to plan, coordinate, conduct, and evaluate Public Affairs and multimedia activities.
- **Organizational Acumen:** Comprehensive understanding of command structures, missions, programs, organizational relationships, program goals, operational events, and effectiveness evaluation.
- **Leadership & Negotiation:** Planning, organizing, and leading projects/studies; effectively negotiating with management to implement recommendations involving substantial resources or procedural changes.
- **Problem-Solving:** Designing and conducting comprehensive studies to prepare solutions for broad, important, or severe operational and contingency areas.
