Public Affairs Specialist

This position seeks a skilled Communications and Media Specialist to manage and execute strategic outreach initiatives within the federal sector.

• *Eligibility:**

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• *For GS-13:**
• Analyze outreach and media engagement activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet communication program needs.
• Oversee the production of various communication materials.
• Report on the execution of marketing and outreach efforts.
• *For GS-14:**
• Develop comprehensive outreach and media engagement strategies.
• Measure the effectiveness of outreach and media engagement programs.
• Evaluate and/or develop outreach and media engagement policies.
• Implement community and public engagement plans.
• Develop online and traditional outreach products and materials.
• *Required Experience:**
• **GS-13:** One year of specialized experience analyzing outreach, collaborating on communication programs, overseeing material production, and reporting on marketing activities. (Typical of work at GS-12 level in federal service).
• **GS-14:** One year of specialized experience developing outreach strategies, measuring program effectiveness, evaluating/developing policy, implementing public engagement plans, and creating outreach products. (Typical of work at GS-13 level in federal service).
• **Note:** Education cannot be substituted for the required experience for this position.
