Summary
Seeking a Communications/Media Specialist to develop, manage, and evaluate strategic outreach and public engagement programs.
This position seeks a skilled Communications and Media Specialist to manage and execute strategic outreach initiatives within the federal sector.
- *Eligibility:**
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- *For GS-13:**
- Analyze outreach and media engagement activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet communication program needs.
- Oversee the production of various communication materials.
- Report on the execution of marketing and outreach efforts.
- *For GS-14:**
- Develop comprehensive outreach and media engagement strategies.
- Measure the effectiveness of outreach and media engagement programs.
- Evaluate and/or develop outreach and media engagement policies.
- Implement community and public engagement plans.
- Develop online and traditional outreach products and materials.
- *Required Experience:**
- **GS-13:** One year of specialized experience analyzing outreach, collaborating on communication programs, overseeing material production, and reporting on marketing activities. (Typical of work at GS-12 level in federal service).
- **GS-14:** One year of specialized experience developing outreach strategies, measuring program effectiveness, evaluating/developing policy, implementing public engagement plans, and creating outreach products. (Typical of work at GS-13 level in federal service).
- **Note:** Education cannot be substituted for the required experience for this position.
