Summary
Manage global public affairs, creating and disseminating diverse informational content for internal and external audiences.
We are seeking a Public Affairs Specialist to manage and disseminate critical information to global internal and external audiences. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies, ensuring our message is clear, consistent, and impactful across various platforms.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, create, design, and disseminate informational materials and products for a worldwide audience.
- Manage content publishing for organizational websites, collaborating with technical teams to resolve display issues.
- Develop and implement internal information campaigns.
- Research, write, and edit articles and informational materials for both internal and external release.
- Conduct interviews and research to produce accurate, engaging content that promotes organizational interests.
- Ensure all published content adheres to organizational policy, grammatical standards, and readability guidelines.
- *Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in public affairs, communications, or a related field. This experience can be gained in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and disseminate communication strategies.
- Proficiency in content management for websites and collaboration with technical staff.
- Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to accuracy and policy compliance.
- Experience includes paid and unpaid work (e.g., volunteer, National Service programs).
