Seeking Staff Psychologists (GS-11 to GS-13) for Veteran care, requiring doctoral-level licensure and relevant clinical experience.
## Staff Psychologist (GS-11 to GS-13)
We are seeking Staff Psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological services across various patient populations. This role offers professional growth opportunities, with grade levels ranging from entry to full performance.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Apply a wide range of professional psychological treatments and assessment methods.
- Design and implement effective treatment strategies tailored to patient needs.
- Integrate new clinical procedures and evidence-based practices into daily work.
- Conduct or participate in clinical research activities, including project design, data acquisition, and team collaboration.
- Provide expert professional advice and consultation on psychological and behavioral health matters (for GS-13 level).
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship is required.
- **Language:** Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
- **Licensure:** Hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
- **Experience (Grade-Specific):
### Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with working with Veterans, particularly within Substance Abuse Recovery Programs.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in evidence-based psychological practices.
- Ability to perform tasks including light to moderate lifting (15-44 lbs), light carrying, reaching, use of fingers, both hands required, walking, standing, kneeling, rapid mental and muscular coordination, near and far vision, depth perception, color distinction, hearing (aid permitted), and emotional/mental stability. A pre-employment physical examination is required.
