Job Description
Summary
Manage complex weapon systems acquisition programs, implement procurement policies, drive process improvements, and advise leadership.
This role requires at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to a GS-12 federal grade level, which includes both paid and unpaid/volunteer work.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize and manage technical and business systems for weapon systems acquisition.
- Review, analyze, and implement higher-level procurement policies.
- Manage project and program requirements, objectives, and metrics, resolving conflicts related to schedules, funding, and resources.
- Identify and incorporate process improvements and best practices based on customer feedback, audits, and lessons learned.
- Advise management and colleagues on complex problems, conduct special studies, propose alternatives, and represent the command.
