This onsite role involves Facilities and Project Management, supporting the U.S. Senate's essential services. We seek a proactive professional to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment, often requiring work outside standard business hours.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage facility-related projects, ensuring compliance with Senate and Architect of the Capitol regulations.
• Implement program management principles to achieve high-quality project outcomes.
• Maintain continuous support for critical U.S. Senate operations.
• Coordinate system upgrades, maintenance, wiring, backups, and data center support.
• *Required Experience & Skills:**
• 2-3 years in facilities or project management.
• Proficiency with office equipment, computers, software (web applications, spreadsheets, databases).
• Familiarity with occupational and environmental safety/health practices, laws, and standards.
• Strong ability to communicate and manage complex projects with diplomacy and professionalism.
• Capacity to quickly learn and apply departmental rules and procedures.
• *Desired Qualifications:**
• Proven ability to excel in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.
• Skilled in data-driven decision-making and risk assessment for high-quality results.
• PMP or other professional project management certifications.
• Experience fostering collaborative relationships across various agencies and organizations.
• *Work Environment & Physical Demands:**
• Onsite presence is required, supporting essential Senate services.
• Must be available for work during government shutdowns, inclement weather, holidays, weekends, and late nights.
• Maintenance tasks often occur during non-standard hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Requires moderate physical effort: carrying items up to 50 lbs, frequent walking, bending, crawling, and prolonged standing.
• Involves occasional exposure to noise, cold temperatures, and various chemicals/allergens.
