Job Description

Summary

Lead Navy Child and Youth Programs, focusing on policy, evaluation, and inclusive program management.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage, evaluate, and enhance critical Child and Youth Programs (CYP) within the Navy. This role requires expertise in program development, policy analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Lead comprehensive program and project management for CYP initiatives, including planning, implementation, tracking, and risk management.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Develop and implement policies, evaluate new legislation, and translate requirements into actionable program goals.
  • Manage and organize executive studies, research projects, and data analysis for decision-making and recommendations.
  • Ensure the application of evidence-based inclusive practices for children and youth in all settings.
  • Build consensus and collaborate effectively with Navy personnel, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations and training sessions.
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, maintaining high quality and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Analyze complex problems, conduct thorough research, and propose innovative solutions.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Professional knowledge of observation, assessment methods, and implementation science.
  • Comprehensive understanding of program management, policy development, and evaluation processes.
  • Familiarity with Navy operational structure, funding, and Child and Youth Programs (CYP) framework.
  • Knowledge of DOD/DON policies, goals, and processes related to CYP issues.
  • Expertise in relevant laws and regulations, including IDEA and The Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies for program assessment.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
