Summary
Drive operational excellence and efficiency by applying Lean/Six Sigma to consult on and implement process improvements.
Join our team as a process improvement specialist, applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to optimize operations and enhance service delivery. This role focuses on driving efficiency and quality across organizational goals.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Identify and define opportunities for operational improvements using Lean/Six Sigma.
- Advise management on resource optimization, rework reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Develop data-driven business cases within the Lean/Six Sigma framework.
- Establish and utilize metrics to measure program goals and process effectiveness.
- Provide expert consultation and technical guidance on Lean/Six Sigma projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Guide teams in structured Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, from recommendations to implementation and follow-up.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Specialized Experience:** One year of experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating expertise in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement and project consultation. This includes:
- **Federal Employees (GS-12):** Must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 level or equivalent.
- **Core Competencies:** Strong skills in Change Management, Planning and Evaluating, Problem Solving, and Writing.
- **Work Environment:** Primarily sedentary with occasional travel.
