Analyze and enhance federal programs and processes, applying specialized experience in program evaluation, management, and strategic planning.
## Program Analyst, GS-0343-12

### Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve mental/behavioral health programs or complex management systems using diverse quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Manage projects, conduct administrative research, prepare comprehensive reports, and perform detailed program analyses.
- Recommend and implement automated processes to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and program operations.
- Assess the design and implementation of programs, including objectives, scheduling, methodologies, and performance outcomes.
- Plan and structure studies to gain management approval for recommendations requiring significant agency resources.
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in at least three (3) of the five (5) specialized experience examples listed above.
- Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at GS-11).
