Job Description

Summary

Seeking an analytical professional to enhance operational efficiency through data analysis, quality management, and problem-solving.

Join our team as an analytical professional focused on improving program effectiveness and efficiency. This role involves applying advanced analytical techniques to solve complex problems and support quality management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze and measure operational effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality management programs, including tracking and reporting complaints, compliments, and related data.
  • Analyze factual information, evaluate critical factors, and provide data-driven solutions to complex problems.
  • Utilize advanced software (e.g., Minitab, SQL, SAS, R Project, Avaya) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for data organization, evaluation, analysis, and report generation.
  • Research and interpret regulations, policies, and precedents impacting program resources.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of one year of specialized experience performing duties equivalent to the GS-9 level in the federal service or similar analytical roles. This experience must include at least three of the following:
* Applying qualitative/quantitative analysis to measure operational metrics. * Assisting with quality management program development/implementation. * Analyzing data to solve complex problems. * Utilizing data analysis software and MS Office for reports and briefings. * Analyzing regulations and policies related to programs.
  • Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree (or an LL.M. if related) in a field directly relevant to the position.
  • Combination: An equivalent combination of specialized experience and graduate-level education (beyond the first two years) in a directly related field.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Problem Solving and analytical thinking.
  • Strong abilities in Performance Management concepts.
  • Excellent Oral Communication skills.
  • Expertise in data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, SQL, SAS, R Project, Avaya).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
