Summary
Oversee NAF budget/accounting, develop policies, and build military partnerships to enhance program efficiency for service members.
Seeking an experienced professional to direct nonappropriated fund (NAF) budget and accounting operations within a federal environment. This role focuses on developing financial policies, fostering strategic partnerships with military services and reserve components to address issues for service members and their families, and identifying program efficiencies.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct NAF budget and/or accounting operations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Initiate partnerships with military services and reserve components to resolve complex issues impacting service members and their families.
- Review programs to identify and implement efficiency opportunities.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience at the GS-13 federal service level or equivalent.
- Experience must include directing NAF budget/accounting, developing policies, initiating military partnerships, and reviewing programs for efficiency.
- **Experience is mandatory; education cannot be substituted for experience.**
- Applicants must meet specific federal employment eligibility requirements, including a Time-in-Grade of 52 weeks at the GS-13 level (or equivalent) for current federal employees.
