This strategic role focuses on providing essential support and guidance for programs benefiting military service members and their families.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategic Advising:** Advise senior executives on resource implications for policies and services addressing military family needs.
- **Resource Management:** Agilely allocate resources to meet emerging critical needs within the military community.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Partner with key stakeholders on budgetary and contractual operations impacting service members and families.
- **Program Oversight:** Review programs for potential efficiencies and monitor contracts related to military family support initiatives.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** A minimum of one year of specialized experience, demonstrating expertise in:
- **Note:** Education cannot be substituted for the required experience.
- **Federal Eligibility:** Applicants must meet specific federal employment authority categories (e.g., current DoD employees, military spouses, veterans). Federal employees typically require 52 weeks of service at the GS-14 level or equivalent.
