Manages federal time and leave policies, oversees scheduling, resolves issues, and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
## Time and Leave Specialist (GS-11 Equivalent)
- *Overview:**
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Apply and interpret federal time and leave regulations, including FMLA, military duty, jury duty, advanced leave, and sick leave certifications.
- Manage employee scheduling systems and maintain precise electronic attendance records.
- Coordinate shift bids and vacation solicitations in compliance with agency policies.
- Investigate and resolve complex time and leave-related issues.
- Serve as a primary contact, communicating effectively with employees, supervisors, human resources, and payroll staff on sensitive matters.
- *Qualifications:**
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, demonstrating proficiency in at least three of the following areas:
- **Education:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (LL.M. if related) in a directly relevant field.
- **Combination:** An equivalent combination of specialized experience and graduate-level education (beyond the first two years) directly related to the position's requirements.

- *Additional Information:**
- This position requires a background in applying federal time and leave regulations.
