## Product Manager/UX Designer

  • *Location:** Hybrid, 2-3 days on-site in Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.
  • *Salary:** $110,000 - $130,000/year
Join our agile development team as a skilled Product Manager/UX Designer. This role is crucial for driving digital product strategy and enhancing user experiences for our platforms.

### Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery, success, and continuous improvement of digital products.
  • Drive digital product strategy, aligning with institutional objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Lead product discovery, user research, design consultation, and product strategy.
  • Create and manage detailed product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on feedback and goals.
  • Organize and manage product backlogs, user stories, and developer issues using tools like Clickup and GitLab.
  • Lead and train teams in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinements, Standups, Retros, Demos).
  • Communicate product vision, updates, and performance metrics to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, analyze user requirements, and create interactive wireframes for applications.
  • Implement accessible and user-centered designs across digital touchpoints.
  • Manage project design reviews, resource planning, and execution for application and service design.
### Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of related experience in Product Management and UX Design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Expertise in human-centered design, design thinking, and agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in conducting user research, user flows, journey mapping, storyboarding, and wireframing.
  • Proficiency with visual design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
### Preferred Qualifications:
  • References for any House Committees projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry and/or public service practices.
  • Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving and triage prioritization skills.
