Summary

Seeking a GS-14 Contracting Professional with 4+ years of specialized procurement experience and a relevant bachelor's degree.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Contracting Professional at the GS-14 level to manage complex procurement programs and ensure compliance with government contracting laws.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of government contracting laws, policies, and operational techniques.
  • Plan, analyze, and evaluate procurement programs and contractual actions for regulatory adherence.
  • Develop and present sensitive recommendations to senior management, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • *Experience:**
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in contracting or related positions.
  • At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, demonstrating successful performance in complex contracting and procurement duties.
  • Experience must include applying government contracting laws, evaluating procurement programs, and reviewing contractual actions.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills for presenting recommendations and ensuring compliance.
  • Volunteer experience (e.g., National Service programs) will be considered.
  • **Note:** Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level.
  • *Education:**
  • A four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
  • This degree must include or be supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in a combination of fields such as accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
  • Completion of all mandatory training prescribed for GS-13 or higher level contracting positions is required.

  • A waiver of specific requirements may be granted by the senior procurement executive based on demonstrated potential, analytical skills, job performance, and qualifying experience.
