Job Description
Seeking a Procurement Analyst to develop and optimize federal acquisition policies and systems, requiring significant procurement and analytical experience.
We are seeking a highly analytical Procurement Analyst to develop, implement, and optimize procurement systems and policies within a federal acquisition environment. This role requires expertise in federal contracting principles and strategic program development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Utilize knowledge of Federal, DoD, and DLA procurement systems, policies, and processes.
* Develop, implement, evaluate, and improve procurement areas.
* Apply analytical principles and techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
* Develop long-range goals and objectives to improve acquisition programs.
* Ensure alignment of programs with overall agency strategic goals and initiatives.
**Minimum Requirements:**
* **Basic Contracting:** Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR prior experience in a specific DoD/Armed Forces 1102 contracting role before September 30, 2000.
* **Critical Acquisition Position (CAP):** 4 years of acquisition experience.
* **Specialized Experience:** 1 year of experience directly applying competencies in procurement, including:
* Expertise in Federal/DoD/DLA procurement systems and policies.
* Proficiency in analytical principles and techniques.
* Ability to develop strategic goals for acquisition programs.
* **GS-14 Grade Level:** Specialized experience must be equivalent to the GS-13 level in the federal service, military, or private sector.
* Must meet all federal eligibility requirements, including time-in-grade where applicable.
