Summary
Seeking a GS-13 Procurement Analyst to manage acquisition processes, analyze data, and ensure FAR and regulatory compliance.
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of government contracting and acquisition processes.
- *Basic Eligibility Requirement:**
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited educational institution; or
- Current civilian DoD employee or Armed Forces member who occupied an 1102 position, contracting officer position, or comparable military contracting position with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold on or before September 30, 2000.
- *Specialized Experience (GS-13 Level):**
Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, military, or private sector. This experience must demonstrate:
- **Acquisition Lifecycle Expertise:** Working knowledge of all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
- **Procurement Process Proficiency:** Experience with administrative procurement processes, including market research, Statement of Work (SOW)/Performance Work Statement (PWS) development, and Independent Government Cost Estimates.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting:** Experience with procurement reporting requirements and the ability to analyze complex reports and data.
- **Regulatory Knowledge:** Comprehensive knowledge of a broad range of contracting methods, concepts, governing regulations (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulation - FAR), principles, practices, policies, laws, and precedents.
- **Compliance Assurance:** Demonstrated ability to ensure procurement policies and procedures comply with statutes, regulatory, and policy guidance from the FAR, DoD, and DLA.
