## Principal Finance Associate, Upmarket Acquisitions and Marketing, US Card

• *Location:** McLean, Virginia
• *Salary:** $117,300 - $133,900 annually, plus performance-based incentives.

Capital One is seeking a motivated Principal Finance Associate to join a highly collaborative team supporting the Upmarket Card portfolio. This role offers significant exposure to market dynamics, competitor positioning, and overall marketing spend, contributing to a high-growth P&L.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct comprehensive financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L management.
• Act as a strategic partner, assessing the financial impact of various acquisition strategies.
• Develop and present clear, concise business insights to senior leadership.
• Manage independent workload, ad-hoc requests, and special financial projects.
• Perform detailed financial data analysis to prepare P&L and other critical statements.
• *Basic Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial modeling.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering).
• Master’s Degree (MBA) in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• CFA or CPA license.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling.
• 3+ years of experience in technology or financial services.
• 3+ years of experience partnering with internal stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
