Principal Finance Associate, Upmarket Acquisitions And Marketing, Us Card

Capital One is seeking a motivated Principal Finance Associate to join its Upmarket Card Finance team. This role supports a high-growth Upmarket portfolio, focusing on financial strategy and analysis for Cash and Travel Cards, offering significant exposure to the card business marketplace and marketing spend.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management.
• Provide strategic financial partnership to senior business leaders on acquisition strategies.
• Develop and deliver clear financial presentations to communicate analysis results to leadership.
• Manage ad-hoc financial requests, special projects, and prioritize workload independently.
• *Qualifications:**
• **Required:**

* Bachelor’s Degree or military experience. * At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis. * At least 3 years of experience with financial modeling.

• **Preferred:**

* Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering). * Master’s Degree (MBA, Accounting, Finance, or Economics), CFA, or CPA license. * 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling. * 3+ years of experience in technology or financial services. * 3+ years of experience partnering with internal stakeholders. * Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. * Proficiency in SQL and Python.
