Capital One seeks a Principal Associate to lead credit card product marketing strategy, driving customer acquisition, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Capital One is seeking an innovative Principal Associate to drive credit card product marketing strategy, specifically for products designed for customers with fair credit. This role focuses on curating acquisition experiences, translating audience insights into marketing optimizations, and collaborating with partners to launch new initiatives.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies for credit card acquisitions.
  • Analyze consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand performance and refine marketing/testing strategies.
  • Serve as a key liaison, partnering with cross-functional teams including business, channel marketing, creative, legal, and operations.
  • Translate business objectives into clear directives for partner teams.
  • Work with creative and marketing technology teams to build, scale, and optimize marketing tactics for conversion.
  • Champion brand positioning, ensuring messaging aligns with audience needs.
  • Create comprehensive creative briefs, test plans, and strategies to drive performance and optimization.

  • Experience marketing for financial services or other highly regulated industries (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms (DMPs, CRMs) (Preferred).
  • *Basic Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in product marketing or multi-channel digital marketing.
  • At least 4 years of experience developing marketing test frameworks, optimization plans, and strategy.
  • At least 4 years of experience managing marketing intent and partnering with creative and channel teams.
  • *Compensation:**
  • Salary Range: $117,300 - $133,900 (McLean, VA), plus performance-based incentive compensation.
