## Policy Specialist: Counter Illicit Finance & National Security
We are seeking dynamic professionals to develop and implement critical U.S. policy aimed at combating illicit financial activities and safeguarding national security. This role involves in-depth analysis, strategic policy formulation, and high-level engagement with domestic and international partners.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor global developments in illicit financial activities, including anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-financing of terrorism (CFT).
- Develop and implement U.S. policies and strategies to counter illicit financial threats.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis, presenting findings and actionable policy recommendations to senior decision-makers.
- Engage with the public, international organizations, and foreign governments on critical policy issues.
Applicants must possess specialized experience demonstrating progressively higher levels of responsibility in:
- Monitoring illicit financial activities and related financial issues.
- Developing or assisting with the creation of policies and strategies on illicit financial threats to the U.S.
- Communicating complex research, analysis, and policy recommendations effectively.
- Engaging with diverse stakeholders including the public, international organizations, or foreign governments on policy matters.
- A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (or LL.M., if related) may substitute for specialized experience.
- A combination of qualifying education and experience is also accepted.
