Key Qualifications:

• **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship is required.
• **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved medical school.
• **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• **Residency Training:** Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program, or an equivalent program approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, leading to board eligibility.
• **Board Certification:** Generally not required, but mandatory for supervisory, affiliated medical school faculty, or specific VHA policy-driven roles (e.g., Director of Cardiac Catheterization Lab).
• **English Language Proficiency:** Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written English for direct patient-care positions.

Preferred Experience:

• Multifacility leadership and collaborative experience.
• Extensive administrative experience, particularly in telehealth (e.g., managing TSAs, SOPs, MOUs, and policies to ensure VHA directive compliance).
• Expert-level knowledge of Telemedicine and related modalities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform moderate lifting (15-44 lbs) and light carrying (under 15 lbs).
• Frequent use of fingers, walking, and standing for up to 2 hours.
• Near and far vision corrected to specified standards; ability to distinguish basic colors.
• Hearing (aid permitted); mental and emotional stability; capable of working closely with others and independently.
