Job Description
Summary
Seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive patient care.

- *Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- *Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** U.S. Citizenship is required. Non-citizens may be considered only if qualified citizens are unavailable per VA policy.
- **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved institution.
- **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Residency:** Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited core specialty residency training program, leading to board eligibility.
- **Certification:** Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- *Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift 15-44 pounds, push, and reach above shoulder height.
- Requires use of fingers and both hands.
- Capable of walking and standing for 3-5 hours, and kneeling.
- Possess rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously.
- Must have depth perception and the ability to distinguish basic colors and shades.
- *Additional Information:**
- This is a designated drug testing position; candidates are subject to random testing for illegal drug use after appointment.
