• *Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• *Requirements:**
• **Citizenship:** U.S. Citizenship is required. Non-citizens may be considered only if qualified citizens are unavailable per VA policy.
• **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved institution.
• **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• **Residency:** Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited core specialty residency training program, leading to board eligibility.
• **Certification:** Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• *Physical Requirements:**
• Ability to lift 15-44 pounds, push, and reach above shoulder height.
• Requires use of fingers and both hands.
• Capable of walking and standing for 3-5 hours, and kneeling.
• Possess rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously.
• Must have depth perception and the ability to distinguish basic colors and shades.
